The goal should be to convince people others are buying what is being sold or are signing up too. This is the power of great testimonials.
A great squeeze page will take time as you play around with the features. The one thing you want to do is continue to test different changes. Collect data and make sure you are testing landing pages against one another to see what works and what does not.
